Abstract
Vascular tumor of the intestinal tract are rare. They may represent clinically obscure bleeding from the bowel, symptoms of acute inflammatory conditions, or intestinal obstruction. Exploratory laparotomy appears to be mandatory for the correct
diagnosis and cure of the condition.
The authors experience a solitary infiltrating cavernous hemangioma of the ileum associated with diffuse cavernous hemangiomatosis of the liver on a 29 year old male. We present morphologic and clinical features, and review the current status of
literatures on the vascular tumors.
